When it comes to wedding photography we immediately think of group photos of the bride and groom together with their parents and bridal party as well as photos of the bride and groom together or separately on their special day.
One idea that seems to be gaining popularity is the idea of “first look” photos – where the bride and groom see each other before the ceremony takes place.
These photos can be touching – capturing intimate moments and emotional expressions that highlight the love the bride and groom have for each other and the delight the groom has in seeing his beautiful bride for the first time dressed in her beautiful gown.
The advantages of “first look” photos are that the bride’s makeup and hair will be perfect and the bride and groom will have more to spend with their friends and family at the reception instead of posing for photos.
Superstitions and traditions aside, it seems this is a trend brides and their grooms are deciding to include as part of their wedding.
