However, you don’t always think that your vendors could be the source of savings as well.

Suggestions include asking about remnants or overstocks, using your vendor to negotiate a discount with other vendors he or she recommends, taking advantage of a vendor’s knowledge to get the most for your money, creating a friendly relationship with your vendor which could lead to generous (cost saving) extras or add-ons, and relying on a vendor to stay within your budget.
